The Laurence Sterne Trust at Shandy Hall, one time home of writer Laurence Sterne, will be exhibiting work from a range of artists as part of the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad programme. The Precious Cargo project focuses on an interpretation of the “absent presence” Sterne had with his “muse”, Eliza Draper, before and during her long sea-voyage to India in 1767.
